Introduction

We are an active club of keen Amateurs in the Armidale district. New members having an interest in Amateur Radio are welcome.

Meetings

Our Club holds a net on 80m every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm local time on 3.633Mhz LSB.
This is followed by Morse sessions conducted by Ken Michell VK2UQ.

Club Activities & Events

A new 2 metre repeater on 146.725 - 600 Khz was commissioned on August 3rd 2013.

A 70cm repeater on 438.650 - 7Mhz is also co sited with the 2 metre repeater and was turned on for service in April 2014.and Echo Link is now operational on this repeater. VK2RAD-R or Node 872907.

The existing repeaters are now exchanged for new Yaesu Fusion C4FM units and Wires-X is enabled via a RF Gateway on our 70cm repeater.

In December 2023 both the 2M & 70cm Repeaters & Echo Link were re-located to Mt Duval at 1450m elevation above sea level and are connected to the North Link Repeater Network.

Our club premises are no longer open however we encourage you to make contact via our club email.

Training Courses And Assessment Information

Since the phasing out of the WIA exam network, We don't currently have any AMC Assessors. We can mentor and facilitate your learning to enable online assessment.
