Introduction
This club was formed in November 1976, mainly for the purpose of establishing a 2 meter repeater for the convenience of travelers on the Princes Highway. The cLub now has VHF and UHF repeaters operating on 146.700 MHz(123Hz tone)and 438.125 MHz (91.5Hz tone) from Nowra Hill.
For over 30 years, this club has enjoyed the support of amateurs who reside on the South Coast, the Far South Coast and in the ACT, Southern Highlands and Sydney areas.
Meetings
Quarterly, on the second Saturday of February, May, August and November.
The next meeting will be 09 November 2024
at the Huskisson Community Centre
Meeting will commence at 12:00 pm noon
Club Activities & Events
Club nets are on Wednesday evenings. 1930 local time on 3617 KHz and 2030 local time on VK2RMU repeater (146.700Mhz - 123hz ctcss tone).
Monday evenings at 2000 local time a net using C4FM digital mode is held on VK2RMU (146.700MHz)
There is a WIRES-X node station operational in Berry the frequency 146.550 Hz. The operator of the Node is Derek, VK2YN
Reports and observations are always welcome.
