Introduction

ARDF, or Amateur Radio Direction Finding, is an exciting branch of amateur radio, attracting people of all ages. Sometimes called Radio Orienteering or Radio Sport, ARDF is very similar to orienteering, the major difference being that participants use direction-finding equipment to locate radio transmitters, rather than navigating to known points on a map.

Meetings

Club run events are advertised and updated on our club webpage at http://www.ardf.org.au.

Club meetings are held in Melbourne at times and locations advertised on our club mailing list.

Club Activities & Events

Clubs members participate and organise ARDF events, other Radio Orienteering events like FoxOrs and club build days where we construct equipment for the club.
Many club members also participate in the related activities of Mobile Foxhunting, and Orienteering.
Some members travel overseas to compete in Regional and World ARDF championships, representing Australia, and the WIA.
