Introduction
Formed in 2006 we are an inclusive club with membership including amateur operators, c.b operators and electronic enthusiasts at various levels of knowledge.
We have a commitment to sharing knowledge and are actively involved in amateur radio training.
Our premier event in the year is the provision of communications support for the Fraser Coast Technology Challenge taking place in Maryborough, particularly the 24hr human powered vehicle race.
We are inviting operators of all experience levels to join the fun in 2020. For beginners this is an excellent introduction to message handling.
Meetings
Meets:
- formally on the second Sunday of each odd month, 10:30 hrs,at the default venue of 9 Avon Street.
- informally on the second Sunday of each even month, default venue 9 Avon Street though keep an ear out following the WIA News rebroadcast for alternative arrangements.

Training Courses And Assessment Information
Foundation training conducted over 5 Saturday mornings and organised as needed.
Standard training conducted over 6 weeks (longer if necessary) and organised according to demand.
Will arrange Advanced training to suit candidate and trainer on request.
Individualised training offered to cover various needs.

Assessments are conducted as candidates are ready at times mutually convenient to candidate and assessors.
