Operating Times and Frequencies
Club member Paul VK2HV will be operating as VK2ATZ portable from 1100 hrs local on Friday 29 October until 1100 hrs Saturday 30 October from his QTH. From 1100 hrs Saturday until close of the event at midnight Sunday 31 October, we will be operating from the Club station in Teralba.
HF - Friday 29 Oct 7.085 (daytime); 3.585 MHz (evening). Frequencies used will be updated after 1100 hrs local on Saturday 30 Oct when operation will revert to Westlakes station at Teralba.
Other Activities
A sausage sizzle will be held at the Club house on Saturday and Sunday. Members of the public have been invited to attend and see the event \\\\\\\'in real time\\\\\\\'.
Club members will be available to discuss all aspects of amateur radio with members of the public.
Publicity
Radio stations and local newspapers notified. Information has gone out through the \\\\\\\"Community Service Files\\\\\\\" operated my most local radio stations. We have received some response to this information.
We have been invited to submit a follow-up article (with photographs) to one of the local newspapers at the conclusion of the event.
