Full Details : The October Foundation Course - 9am- 4pm on Saturday, assessment on Sunday morning - has seats available for anybody wanting to take the first step in becoming an Amateur Radio Operator. Cost is, $75 includes Club Membership, Handbook, Stationery and Catering. We also collect the $25 for Assessment (passed onto the WIA) and $57 for 1 year Licence fee (passed onto the ACMA). Also please provide a passport photo to process the licencing paperwork.

The EMDRC has a strong focus on education and skills improvement and will never charge its members for training. While we suggest reading the whole handbook at least once, it is imperative that participants in the Foundation Course obtain the handbook before the course dates and are familiar with at least the first three chapters.

Brief Description :

Full Details : Participate this year in JOTA-JOTI JOTA and JOTI usually commences at midnight Friday and runs through to midnight Sunday LOCAL TIME. Of course, actual starting and finishing times are subject to local arrangements.

Because this is the 50th JOTA, starting time will be 2200 Friday, giving 50 hours of JOTA-JOTI. The official world opening will be at 2200 UTC Friday.

The goals of Jamboree On The Air and Jamboree On The Internet are to bring Scouts together wherever they are, foster communication between them, stimulate the free exchange of ideas, contribute to mutual confidence and respect, and create new friendships. JOTA is not a contest.

Full Details : Amateur Radio Victoria holds a weekend training session for the Foundation Licence and Licence Assessments. It also holds a bridging course for those wanting to upgrade from the Foundation Licence to the Standard Licence.

To make an enrolment for the training and registration for the assessments as simple as possible, it can all be done via email arv@amateurradio.com.au
