Alpine Back Country Wilderness Adventure.
Several Victorian amateurs are preparing portable gear and cross-country ski kit in readiness for their annual back country trip into the Bogong High Plains. The group will take ultra-light solar powered gear in to the snowy wonderland of the Australian Alps. Listen out for their portable QRP station calling on bands from 160 through to 20 m each afternoon and evening. Have a chat and hear about winter conditions on the roof of Australia. |

will be holding a Foundation training course and a following examination at our Clubrooms 237 A, High Street ,Belmont, Geelong. [ see club location on the website].
This course to take place over two Saturdays.
These being the 22nd and 29th of August.
The course will start at 9:30 AM and finish at about 4:30 PM each Saturday.
Attendees need to bring their own lunch, tea and coffee will be provided
free. The total cost of the course will be $155. This would include
textbook[ Your Entry into Amateur Radio], and all examination and licence fees.
