14,122 active Amateur callsigns in Australia

On the 4th of October there were a total of 14,122 active Amateur callsigns in Australia

The 14,122 Callsigns were made up of 6 Special Event VI callsigns (mostly issued to VK4) plus the following number of regular callsigns..

 VK0 - 3
 VK1 - 345
 VK2 - 4,011
 VK3 - 3,712
 VK4 - 2,759
 VK5 - 1,319
 VK6 - 1,267
 VK7 - 511
 VK8 - 161
 VK9 - 28

In terms of a breakdown by callsign type there were ...
 7,861 Unrestricted callsigns
 2,714 Limited Callsigns
 1,313 Intermediate callsigns

Soon to become 11,888 Advanced Grade Licences
 1,249 Novice callsigns
 596 Novice Limited Callsigns

Soon to become 1,845 Standard Grade Licences
 356 Repeater Callsigns
 33 Beacon Callsigns
