WIA at the 2010 Wyong Field Day

The WIA was in attendance at the Wyong Field Day held at the Wyong Racecourse on Sunday 28 February 2010.
Traveling from Melbourne for the event were President Michael Owen VK3KI, Director Peter Young VK3MV, Secretary Geoff Atkinson VK3AFA and Dianne Ashton VK3FDIZ and her husband Phil. Director Phil Wait VK2DKN traveled from Sydney.
A large range of books from the WIA Bookshop was displayed on the five tables set aside for the WIA. Sales of the Centenary callbook were brisk.
A range of Centenary themed merchandise was eagerly sought by WIA members who visited the stand.
All WIA personnel were kept very busy from the opening, attending to many requests. We were delighted with the application of another 13 people to join the WIA along with many who took the opportunity to renew existing memberships.
