ACMA Explains Reasons for Ending the High Power Trial

The ACMA has posted a statement on its website concerning its decision to not continue the regulatory arrangements put in place for the High Power Trial, which ends on 31 August.

The Trial began on 1 March 2012 and included a detailed assessment process conducted by the ACMA that began from 1 March this year, ending recently.

The ACMA’s statement sets out the areas taken into consideration in its assessment, and the reasons for the conclusion it reached to not continue the Trial’s regulatory arrangements.
