The New Foundation Licence Manual now available

Your Entry into Amateur Radio, The Foundation Licence Manual began over ten years ago and is now in its 3rd edition. The WIA formed a sub-committee to work on the new edition that were Robert Broomhead VK3DN, Jim Linton VK3PC, Peter Hartfield VK3PH and Ivan Smith or Communique Graphic.

This very successful theory, regulatory and practice book has become the standard, must have, reference manual for entry into Amateur Radio in Australia. Originally co-authored by Ron Bertram VK2DQ and Phil Wait VK2ASD in 2005, the new edition reflects changes including revised text, more images, the latest first aid resuscitation chart and a copy of the new WIA band plans.

The Manual is attractively presented and contains all the information needed to qualify for the Foundation Licence in Australia. On the cover is a QR code for modern mobile phones that leads to the WIA website for a range of further information.
