Further to our previous notice on this website from May 2015, in Amateur Radio magazine from June 2015, and on a number of VK1WIA broadcasts since then, and in accordance with our Constitution, I confirm that the Annual General Meeting of the Wireless Institute of Australia will be held on Saturday 28 May 2016, commencing at 0900 LT, at the Paradise Hotel, Elizabeth Avenue, Norfolk Island.
As is the normal custom, the WIA Board is now pleased to release the 2015 Financial Statement, Directors Report and the Open Forum Reports prior to the AGM. A copy of the Financial Report carrying the Auditor's signature will be made available on the website shortly. Link
The publication of these documents is a little later than in previous years as a result of unavoidable delays in preparation and reviewing of the 2015 Financial Report. The Board apologises for this postponement, which does not affect the proceedings of the AGM. A summary will be published in Amateur Radio magazine following the AGM.
