WIA National Office temporary closure

Date : 24 / 03 / 2020
Author : Peter Clee - VK8ZZ

Due to the government restrictions on meetings and the request to close non essential business it has been decided to restrict access to the WIA National Office at Bayswater Victoria.

The executive officer Bruce will still be in the office and available to answer queries. Visiting the national office will no longer be possible.

If you need to contact the office please do so by email (preferably) or by telephone if the matter is urgent.

It is not known how long it will be necessary to leave the national office closed, but we can only hope that it is not too long.

The QSL Bureau operation which are conducted from the National Office have been suspended until further notice.

AR magazine will still be produced so get some good construction articles for Amateurs to build during these days of social distancing.

Take care, wash your hands and stay safe

Cheers
Peter VK8ZZ
WIA Secretary
for and on behalf of the Board of the WIA
