Bundaberg finalise the weekend timetable

Bundaberg Conference Timetable

Friday 3rd May

 9:40AM, 12:15PM, 3:00PM - Shuttle bus will meet incoming arrivals at Hinkler Airport and take delegates to accommodation. (if required)

 5:00PM – 5:30PM – Shuttle Bus to ferry registered delegates to Sugarland Tavern.

 6:00PM – Official Opening of the WIA Convention at Sugarland Tavern by the local Mayor Helen Blackburn.

 7:00PM – Shuttle Bus to take delegates back to accommodation if required.

Saturday 4th May

 6:00AM – Begin setup tables / displays for the Commercial Expo and Hamfest at the Multiplex.

 9:00AM – Expo/Hamfest opens to the public.

 9:40AM, 12:15PM, 3:00PM - Shuttle bus will meet incoming arrivals at Hinkler Airport (if required) and take delegates to accommodation.* / and to the event at the Multiplex.

 11:00AM – 4:00PM – Shuttle Bus to take visitors (XYLs / Partners) to local Bundaberg tourist attractions (such as Hinkler Museum / Bundy Rum Distillery Tour..

 10:00AM – 1:00PM – Guest speakers doing presentations (see timetable for speakers)

 4:00PM – Expo/Hamfest closes to the public.

 5:00PM Pre-dinner Social/Networking

 6:00PM – WIA Gala Dinner

 8:30PM – Contact with the International Space Station – Conference Room (2) – please arrive 15 minutes before this time if you wish to attend.

 9:00PM – Shuttle bus takes delegates back to accommodation. (as required)

Sunday 5th May.

 7:00AM – Breakfast at the River Cruise Café.

 9:00AM – Expo/Hamfest opens to the Public.

 9:00AM – 2:00PM - Shuttle Bus to take visitors (XYLs / Partners) to local Bundaberg tourist attractions / Morning Tea / Lunch at Café’.

 9:00AM - 10:00AM – Guest speakers doing presentations (see timetable for speakers)

 10:00AM – 12:00PM – WIA AGM / Open Forum.

 1:00PM – Expo/Hamfest closes to the Public

 1:00PM – 4:00PM – pack up of displays by exhibitors at the Expo/Hamfest.

The shuttle bus (VK4WIA) can be contacted on the bundaberg repeater 147.800MHz (no tone -600 offset)
