Monday the 14th of May at 8pm, WIA Director Robert Broomhead appeared as a guest live in the studio of Melbourne's 94.1 3WBC FM on the stations "Tech Talk Radio" program.
Robert discussed with the shows hosts, Andrew McColm (pictured right), Graham Callaghan and Dr Ron, the many facets of our hobby of Amateur Radio and in particular the renewed interest the hobby has seen since the dropping of morse as a requirement for obtaining a licence and the introduction of the popular Foundation License.
By all accounts the interview was well received by those listening on the air and with the techtalkradio streaming servers showing significantly higher number of listeners accessing the server than usual.
