It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely passing of Peter Naish, VK2BPN.
Peter passed away in the afternoon of Sunday January 9 th 2005 at St Vincent's hospital in Sydney, surrounded by his family. Peter had suffered a major heart attack on Thursday afternoon, January 6th.
Peter was the Secretary of the National WIA, a past WIA Federal President, a Director of IARU Region 3 and since the February 2004 Conference in Taipei, Taiwan, Chairman of Directors of IARU Region 3.
Peter was a tireless worker for Amateur radio over many years. He will be sadly missed. The funeral details will be announced as soon as they come to hand.
