I have told you of the retirement of June Fox in the near future and that Judith Oliver has joined us to take June’s place.
I now must tell you what has been happening over the last few weeks.
Last week, the office was closed, with the office not taking telephone calls, as many parts of the office were reorganised, new (well, some of it used, but “new used”) furniture and equipment was installed and new software installed and tried.
Both before and after last week June and Judith have been working side by side, with Judith learning as much as she can about her new role.
Then, this week, Emma Trebilco, who works with June and particularly administers the WIA Exam System, has been sick.
All this has meant that the national office has not been able to provide the service we would like. The processing of new memberships, the sending out of renewals and a number of other functions have been delayed. Thanks to the assistance of Brenda Edmonds, I don’t think we will have any serious delays with the exams – we certainly are trying to avoid that.
Please understand that once again we are going through a period of transition and change, so please forgive us if some things take a little longer than they should, and if something does get missed, do let us know. I do ask for your understanding and patience.
Thank you.
