WIA National Attends Kyneton RadioFest

The WIA National office team attended the Centre Victoria RadioFest on Sunday 14 February at the Kyneton racecourse where almost 600 people from all parts of Australia were in attendance. Michael Owen, (President), Geoff Atkinson, (Secretary), John Longayroux (Treasurer) and Peter Young (Board Member) looked after the WIA stand and did a brisk business selling technical books from the WIA bookshop and of course the latest WIA Callbook. The WIA National presence at the RadioFest also afforded the opportunity for members and non-members to raise issues with the team. The day was capped off with 15 new members signing up. All in all a nice day where even the weather played its part. The WIA team will be off to Wyong Hamfest in two weeks time where the bookshop will be in operation again.
