New position for the WIA office

The WIA is looking for an Executive Administrator for the WIA Office in Bayswater, Melbourne. Candidates are being sought meeting the selection criteria. It’s desirable they understand the WIA, Amateur Radio, have experience in a not-for-profit, community service, membership organisation, or the armed forces.

Ideally they would have strong communications skills, a commitment to excellence, strong analytical and problem solving, an ability to think conceptually as well as creatively, and work within a team environment. Proven administrative skills are required, including proficiency in using a range of software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and databases. The full-time contract position which is being advertised answers to the WIA Board of Directors through the WIA President.

The tasks to be undertaken include supervise and coordinate activities of staff, payroll, training, budget and inventory control, review and answer correspondence, and provide executive services for the Board of Directors.
