WIA AGM weekend bookings closing

Have you made a booking yet for the exciting WIA AGM weekend in the historical town of Hahndorf an easy drive from Adelaide?
The VK5 Organising Committee have been providing regular reports on the weekly VK1WIA broadcast, there was an excellent run down in the May edition of Amateur Radio magazine, on the WIA website and social media. Around 200 bookings have been made to date, showing an enormous amount of interest in what is being offered for this exciting weekend program.
However there has to be a close off for bookings – which is at the last possible moment. This is so the final numbers and payments can be made to the various providers and venues, and registration packs be completed. The closure for all bookings is Midnight Sunday evening May 7, at this time the booking form will be closed on the WIA website.
If you have not registered and would like to attend, then we would be pleased to have you join in. Please complete your online registration by Midnight Sunday evening.
For those travelling to Hahndorf , on Sunday the 21st of May, there will be a free Come and Try Radio Activities Day at Hahndorf Football Club Oval, registration for the event is not required. This event will be open to the public and a fantastic opportunity to come and see and try the many different aspects of Amateur Radio and to talk to those who have a passion in their respective fields. This event will kick off at 12.30pm commencing with an EME demonstration, with the main activities commencing at 1.00pm.
