2019 WIA Annual Conference Sydney event will start on the Friday night - 24 May and run through until Sunday 26 May 2019.
Friday evening welcome
This night will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Waverley Amateur Radio Society, with speaker David Dufty, author of Secret Code Breakers, and will showcase various historical presentations regarding early Amateur Radio icons in Sydney.
Saturday AGM, Technical Sessions and Dinner
This will start with the Annual General Meeting and Open Forum. Followed by lunch and then an afternoon of Technical sessions.
The Saturday will conclude with the Annual Conference Dinner with the after dinner speaker being Professor Fred Watson, the astronomer in charge at The Anglo Australian Observatory, Siding Spring.
Sunday Activities Day
There are a range of activities organised for the Sunday, these include:
ARNSW Field Day at the Dural site.
Kurrajong Radio Museum Visit

The Blue Mountains
Bondi Beach and other popular Sydney locations
