Yet More 122 GHz Records

Roland Lang VK4FB and Stefan Durtschi VK4CSD have set a new VK4 and national record for the 122 GHz band. VK4CSD at Panorama Place, VK4FB at Edens Landing

This is a National record between VK4FB and VK4CSD on 31 March 2019 over a distance of 21.2 km.

David Minchin VK5KK and Iain Crawford VK5ZD have broken the VK1 record for 122 GHz.

VK5ZD/1 at Questacon Science Museum Car Park, VK5KK/1 at Mt Ainslie Lookout

VK1 record between VK5KK/1 and VK5ZD/1 on 19 March 2019 over a distance of 3.8 km.

John VK3KM provides the following clarification on Mobile Record Claim Conditions

Re the query on mobile record conditions: As a minimum, one of the two claimants must have been operating mobile. (The other could be a mobile, portable or home station). To qualify as a mobile station, the following from the current record claim conditions: "A station is mobile if its equipment, including power source and antenna, is installed in a vehicle and the station is capable of full operation while the vehicle is being driven."
