On Sunday the 7th of August at the NCRG Hamfest, it was my pleasure to present to Phil Harman VK6APH the Ron Wilkinson Award certificate.
The award was announced at the recent WIA AGM in Darwin. Phil agreed to be presented with the award at Hamfest. Phil received the award in recognition of his contribution to Amateur radio, especially in digital techniques, and for his contributions to Amateur radio literature.
Phil said he was honoured to receive the award.
The presentation of the certificate was done live, on-air, during the NewsWest broadcast.
